Home at Honeywood

Before: When longtime clients Carol and Kevin McCoy’s home was devastated by hurricane Harvey in August 2017, they immediately contacted us to repair the damage and restore their lives.
These clients had planned on a master bath remodel, but the tragedy shifted their priorities.

After: This entire kitchen was gutted back to the studs due to water damage and a new, more open design was created. The wall separating the kitchen from the family room was removed to create an open concept layout and elegant grey cabinets were chosen and paired with white quartz countertops and coordinating white marble herringbone backsplash. The harsh box light was updated to six recessed ceiling lights to brighten the space and a beautiful gold chandelier used to anchor the island. The original peninsula was replaced with an oversized detached island for additional storage and extra seating, and a beautiful rich brown hardwood floor was selected to ground the entire area.
