Bright & Brilliant
Cherrington
Before: The large bar height pass-through and awkwardly placed dropped cabinets in the center of the room made the space feel closed off and out of date. The layout although functional, lacked storage and was dark and visually unappealing. The goal was to create an updated kitchen that was bright and open to the family room.
After: The furdowns and drop cabinets were removed and a beautiful new oversized island was installed for additional storage and function. White shaker style cabinets were paired with the island’s light grey cabinets and balanced with white quartz countertops. The build in desk area was converted into a custom mud bench with built-in storage. The large support beams were structural in nature and could not be removed; instead they were incorporated into the design and given a fresh coat of paint.
