Bold Creativity

Allingham

Before: Although spacious this kitchen was dated and suffered from bad lighting and poor flow due to the large breakfast table in the center of the room and the cold uneven fluorescent box light. Its oak cabinets, floral and plaid wallpaper, and corian countertops made this kitchen look every bit of its age- 20 years old.
These clients are passionate about cooking and longed for a kitchen that functioned well and expressed their bold contemporary style.

After: The cabinets were painted a rich dark chocolate brown, which is complimented by the simple off-white quartz countertops and modern steel hardware. A custom roll out breakfast table was created (using industrial steel legs on casters and the quartz from the surrounding countertops) to slip underneath the island or float in the room for additional seating. Bold pops of color were added through the gorgeous quartzite slab island, dramatic glass and stone backsplash, and ruby pendant lighting.
